I went to Buri last March 6, 2014,. and the experience was super amazing.
Located in a secluded place in Puerto Galera Mindoro, Buri is a great place to getaway and have that tranquil break. There are twelve villas at the resort and two garden villas that are great for honeymooners. There are also family villas to accommodate up-to 7 people, there's even a private plunge pool, that's great especially for the kids.
You can do a whole lot in Buri other than just relax.
Here are some activities you can do there:
-Snorkeling-Tracking
-Island hopping
-Fishing
-Dolphin watching,
-Trip to waterfalls
-Ride a carabao (water bufallo)
-Even trips to local indigenous people, Mangyan village

What I really like about Buri is that you'll feel like it's a personalized service, tailor maid just for you depending on what you want or what you need.
Spa- The spa is very popular in Buri, the therapist actually use ointments and leaves grown in Buri garden.
Service includes traditional Filipino hilot, wraps, facial and some really good massages. Great-news is they cater to walk-ins as well, just to have their spa service.
For me the place is great for honeymooners,..but is not made for young people who wants to go crazy and party all night. If that's what your looking for better go elsewhere.
